Between Thailand and Myanmar is the town of Mae Sot, where 20,000 children live. Only 9,000 of them go to school. Many have to work in factories or in the fields just to survive. The aim of these t-shirts is to cover the costs of sending as many children as possible to school, so they are not forced to work before time.

There are estimated to be over 160,000 Burmese refugees living in camps on the Thai-Burmese border. A high percentage of these are orphans. The aim of these key-rings is to build centres for these children to grow up in safe and stable environments that they can call home; not in temporary camps.

In 2010 the Chicken School nursery was falling apart. In 6 years Colabora Birmania has helped the school increase the number of places available from 25 to 126 and ensured that the buildings are now safe. However, teaching resources are still scarce, which means the quality of the schooling remains low. These bookmarks will provide the children with books so they can learn to read.

The inhabitants of Zet Yat Hla, in Myanmar get their water supply from a lake. However, during the dry season this water disappears, leaving them with very little access to water. Our aim is to collect funds to create a well that is capable of purifying the water and supplying the 550 inhabitants in the area.

On 2 March 2008 the Cyclone Nargis devastated the Ayeyarwady division, at the southern end of Myanmar. The inhabitants were severely affected by this cyclone and most of the infrastructures were destroyed. Today many of these remain the same. The aim of these postcards is to restore the roofs, the doors and the foundations of the schools in which the local children learn to read and write every day.
